Heh, consider yourself lucky. I actually hadn't heard much about it, either - my boss raved about it, and I started seeing so many people reading it on the Metro, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Right before I started reading, I read a review petzipellepingo linked, THANK GOD, which prepared me for the graphic violence and anti-feminist stuff. But I didn't see any other reviews until I went looking for them.
