Dreamwidth codes

I'm sure there's no shortage of them, since everyone seems to have gotten more codes, and I can't really give much of a pitch for Dreamwidth, since all I use it for is a back-up for my LJ...

BUT with that glowing recommendation, lol, if anyone wants a DW code, let me know, and I'll be happy to email it to you. :)

Dreamwidth does not yet have open registration. If you want to create an account, you need an invite from someone who's already a member. They send out codes that we can give out to our friends in order for them to register.

Fairy Godmother of Verbal Usage. I have no talent for plot construction, but I'm word perfect on grammar, diction, vocabulary, punctuation, parallel structure, and all that other nuts and bolts stuff. In other words, precise but unimaginative. Sigh!

It's basically another journalling service, modeled off LiveJournal, but with some different features. The link is in my earlier comment if you want to look around. Some people prefer it because of the better features (and you can automatically crosspost to your LJ so you don't have to make duplicate posts), but personally I find it to be not that worthwhile, since most of fandom is still on LJ anyway. I mostly set up an account in order to stake out my name in case fandom ever moved, but it doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon.
