I can see that, though I would imagine that renting, downloading, or streaming would be cheaper than buying them (especially if you're buying them before you know whether you like them and would want to watch them again), which is what I usually end up doing.

Streaming? As in Hulu? Because I can't do that from outside America.

All the major networks (and many cable channels) stream episodes on their websites. There's also other websites that are similar to Hulu. I don't know if they're available outside the US, since I've never used most of them.
